Welcome to the October edition of CORESafety TV — the online video program from the National Mining Association. 

The NMA’s Sentinels of Safety Award winners for 2020 and 2019 were recognized at the MINExpo International trade show in Las Vegas last month. 

Forty American mining operations – 12 coal mines and 28 mineral/metal mines – were honored in 10 categories. 

A minimum of 4,000 hours without a single lost-time injury is required for Sentinels of Safety award consideration. 

This month’s CORESafety TV episode features the complete list of winners for both 2020 and 2019.
