CORESafety TV (May 2020):
CORESafety Mining Companies
Helping With Pandemic Relief Efforts
Welcome to the May edition of CORESafety TV — the online video program from the National Mining Association.
In the last two months since COVID-19 has spread throughout the United States and the rest of the world, many companies have been contributing to relief efforts in a variety of ways.
The American mining industry has certainly been helping out, while still continuing to produce the materials and fuels that the country needs to keep running.
Providing financial assistance, educational tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) are just some of the ways that NMA members have been contributing. That includes several mining operations that use CORESafety as their safety and health management system.
In this episode of CORESafety TV, we share what some of those operations are doing in this time of the coronavirus crisis.
Also in this CORESafety TV episode, we launch a new “Video Nugget” segment that highlights one of CORESafety’s 20 modules every month.
